This is my submission for a Photoshop-coursework we had earlier this year. The concept behind this piece of, ahem, “art”, is the combination of buildings and green life you find in London.
The title, “A pixel by any other name”, is a reference to the flower in the picture, a hibiscus, who goes under the Norwegian name “Hawaiian Rose”.
It is three seperate images on top of each other. To achieve the pixel effect on the images, I’ve created a “pixel brush” that I read about in Photoshop Creative vol. 58.
Not too shabby, me thinks.
